The Opie and Anthony Show officially began in March of 1995 as a radio team with Gregg “Opie” Hughes and Anthony Cumia as the show hosts. The broadcast originated on the terrestrial FM radio station WAAF in Boston, Massachusetts. The show has been broadcast on a variety of terrestrial stations (WNEW, WJFK) over the years before finally moving to XM Satellite Radio on October 4, 2004.
The current version of the show is airing on SiriusXM Satellite Radio and includes comedian Jim Norton as a show host.
